The Declaration of Independence the thirteen United States was signed on July 4, 1776.  The second paragraph states, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”  These Rights are blessings from God.  The challenge for us as individuals and as a nation is to exercise these Rights within the Laws of God and not forget where they came from.
