Fasting is a great tool to draw closer to God by being humbled and realizing our physical weakness and reliance on our Father.  By seeking His Will we strive to be in Accord with our Father.  Isaiah 58 shows us how fasting is not about ourselves but by using it properly we can be blessed and be focused on the priorities that are truly important in our Christian journey.
