God is limitless, but humans are limited physically and mentally. Our thinking is limited as is the entire physical universe - it has length, width and height, but man cannot measure it even though it is limited. Comparing ourselves to an unlimited God helps us to see that comparing ourselves to anything other than God sets us off down the wrong path, yet comparing ourselves to God shows us that only His way of living is the right path for our lives.
